Lagos State Governor, Jide Sanwo-Olu, has announced that Lagos has secured a $1.352 billion investment partnership with the African Export-Import Bank (Afreximbank) and Access Bank at the Africaribbean Trade and Investment Forum 2023 in Guyana. This investment will support the state’s long-term infrastructure projects, including the Fourth Mainland Bridge, Omu Creek Project, and the second phase of the Lagos Rail Mass Transit (LRMT) Blue Line from Mile 2 to Okokomaiko.
The governor also reiterated his commitment to creating a better future for Lagos and its people. He stated that the state’s vision for Lagos is becoming a reality with the Lekki-Epe International Airport and the Lagos Food Systems and Logistics Hub in Epe. These projects are expected to further boost the state’s economy and serve generations to come.
