The event, which held at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, was attended by some other state governors including the Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki; Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu; Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno and Yahaya Bello of Kogi State.
Among the officers decorated with the rank of Commissioner of Police (CP), having been elavated from the rank of Deputy Commissioner of Police, is Mr. Ifeanyi Uche, an indigene of Umunneochi from Abia State.
