In a recent interview with Gbenga Aborowa of Spade TV Africa, he participated as a guest speaker, and the two talked about Africa’s role in the UN. He emphasised that the yearly Big Brother Naija could have been tailored to promote Nigeria’s development. He said, “The same people that designed Big Brother Naija could have designed it to be a show where Young people discuss issues of the country and come up with solutions other Young people can vote for the best solutions…”
Kuti pointed out that the programme should have discussed viable solutions to the myriad problems in Nigeria rather than concentrating on social skills and techniques. He continued by saying that, rather than the housemates, it would be preferable if the show’s audience chose the most practical answer.
