Notably, Yakubu Gowon Airport underwent renovation work in 2020, with the aim of attracting more airlines and passengers to the route.
More recently, Caleb Mutfwang, the Governor of Plateau State, inaugurated a direct flight route from Abuja to Jos, further enhancing transportation services within the state.
This initiative followed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the state government and ValueJet Airline.
