The member representing Obingwa West constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly, Erondu Uchenna Erondu (Jnr) said he has passion for human capital development and quality education.
Uchenna Erondu stated this in an exclusive interview with LEADERSHIP in Umuahia, the state capital, after the Federal Polytechnic, Nekede, Owerri, Imo State honoured him with Fellowship Award.
He was honoured, last weekend, alongside the president general of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu; business mogul, Leo-Stan Ekeh; and Ikechukwu Ukwe.
The House committee chairman on public service said he would continue to play roles in driving policies and programmes aimed at enhancing quality education and skills acquisition in the state.
He, therefore, appreciated the rector and the management of the polytechnic for the award and assured of his total commitment to partner with the institution to achieve its mandate.
At the 21st Convocation ceremony of the polytechnic, the rector, Michael Arimanwa had extolled him for his selfless humanitarian, community services, and passionate investments in education among others.
Calling on other leaders in the country to emulate him, he noted that Uchenna Erondu had demonstrated exceptional leadership qualities, hence the need for the award.
