Tribunal upholds Abbas’ election, dismisses Nyako’s petition 

Just as the tribunal have equally awarded a cost of N750,000 against Nyako and in favour of Senator Abbass of the PDP whose election was upheld by the tribunal as the Senator representing Adamawa South senatorial district.

In her judgement delivered Monday, the chairperson of the tribunal, Justice Sabo dismissed the petition in its entirety for lacking in merit and upheld the the victory of Abbas as the senator representing Adamawa Central senatorlal district in the National Assembly.
