One Percent Int’l Unveils OAP, Adaora Onyechere Sydney-Jack, As New Talent

One Percent International Management, a platform that discovers, develops and promotes the latent talent in Nigeria has signed a multi-talented on-air personality, Adaora Onyechere Sydney-Jack.

At a colourful ceremony in Abuja on Wednesday, the organisation which also prides itself as a big investor in artistes and talent recruitment and development, expressed gratitude for having an influential broadcast journalist in its fold.

Speaking at the event, the Chief Executive Officer of One Percent International Management, Ambassador Stephenie Nnadi said the organisation is committed to providing exposure on a vast international scale as well as opening avenues for collaborations.

While congratulating Adaora as the latest member of One Percent International Management expressed the willingness of the organisation to ensure a harmonious working relationship with her.

Adaora Onyechere has worked in television for over 15 years and is one of the most widely recognised faces on Nigerian television. She is currently the host of the TV show Gender Agenda, an interactive 30 minutes TV programme on women’s issues and policy literacy cutting across various sectors in Nigeria and airing exclusively on Africa Independent Television (AIT).

A strong Advocate for Women in Politics in Nigeria, Adaora is the Chairperson of Elect-Her Agenda35 Advisory Council, a non-profit organisation addressing the under-representation of women in politics, democratising politics for women to Decide, Run and Win elections across in Africa.

She is the Founder of Wewenetwork Afrique a platform that seeks to mainstream women’s visibility using multimedia platforms and also the Executive Director of Gender Strategy Advancement International focused on research on inclusive policies and interventions for women, vulnerable persons and youths.

She is also the former Head, Women Affairs & Gender Cluster Committee Africa Union ECOSOC Nigeria, a role in which she has seen to the launching of several intervention programs that seeks inclusion for women across sectors, one of which was the launch of the African Union Financial Inclusion Project Decade 2020 – 2030 in partnership with the Mnistry of Women Affairs and adopted by the Nigerian Federal Government through the Presidency in March 2020.
She flagged off Her project EducateHer in 2021 an intervention scheme for young girls who are unable to afford Junior and senior waec fees in imo state her state of Origin.

#Yesshecan is also one of her reorientation and self-development programs for young girls in Africa and in Nigeria.
