Innoson Vehicles Withdraws Scholarship After UTME Candidate’s Result Forgery Confirmed

Embattled UTME candidate, Mmesoma Ejikeme, has had the N3m scholarship awarded to her by Innoson Vehicles withdrawn after a probe confirmed allegations of result forgery. Ejikeme had claimed to have scored 362 in the examination, but JAMB refuted the claim, stating that her result had been manipulated. The findings of the inquiry committee, set up by the Anambra State Government, were made public in an eight-page report on Friday, revealing that Ejikeme had given herself a score of 362 instead of the actual score of 249.

Innoson Group, in response to the confirmed findings, decided to revoke the scholarship, emphasizing its commitment to honesty and integrity. The company expressed regret over the situation but maintained the importance of upholding the integrity of its scholarship program and the values it represents.

Innoson reaffirmed its dedication to supporting deserving students, investing in the education sector, and adhering to the highest ethical standards. The company extended its appreciation to the public, JAMB, the Anambra State Governor’s committee, and other supporters for their understanding and support during this challenging period.
