Crisis has hit the Imo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and potentially the governorship aspiration of Senator Samuel Anyanwu in the November 11, 2023 governorship election in the state, as seven members of the State Working Committee, on Sunday morning, announced their resignations from their positions.
They also announced the withdrawal of their memberships from the party.
The aggrieved executives made the announcement during a press conference at the party’s secretariat in Owerri, the state capital.
