Ukrainian hackers claim responsibility for destroying Russian ISP that wiped out servers, caused internet outages

A Ukrainian hacking group has claimed responsibility for destroying a Russian ISP that wiped out servers, causing immediate and complete internet outages.

The hacker collective known as Ukrainian Cyber Alliance claimed responsibility for the attack, claiming that Nodex, a company situated in St. Petersburg, “was completely looted and wiped out” while the empty equipment without backups was left to them.

“Data exfiltrated, while the empty equipment without backups was left to them,” according to the group’s post on Telegram.
