Boko Haram insurgents on Wednesday night attacked a police station in Gajiram, Nganzai Local Government Area of Borno State, and killed two operatives.
One other police officer was seriously injured in a gun duel with the terrorists.
The attackers were eventually overpowered with the support of the civilian joint task force stationed near the police station.
