Liz Sanya is a British-Nigerian fashion designer who has just completed her Guinness World Record attempt for the World’s Largest Sandal.
This project took place on January 2nd, 2025, and was concluded on January 4th at 37 Lawal Street, Pixel Park, in Lekki, Lagos. Over the three days, Liz and her team worked tirelessly to complete the giant pink sandal. A significant number of supporters, including filmmaker KortyEO, music artists like Mayorkun, Pheelz ,Taves , and many more, gathered to cheer Sanya on during her record-breaking attempt.
After completing the world record attempt, Liz took to Instagram to announce this milestone and captioned it: “Believing in me is free, doubting me will cost you.” Her words resonated with fans and friends, who praised her achievement and celebrated her determination.
Liz Sanya’s accomplishment adds to Nigeria’s growing list of record-breaking moments.
