Nigeria’s equities market rebounds from losses with ₦507bn profit for investors

The Nigerian equities market bounced back from the first loss in 2025 with a gain of N507 billion for investors at the close of trading on Wednesday.

This followed a surge in the share prices of stocks like TRANSCORP, MTN NIGERIA, and HONEY FLOUR, amongst others on the trading floor.

After five hours of trading at the capital market, the equity capitalization surged to ₦63.5 trillion from ₦63.05 trillion posted by the bourse the previous day.
