Former Vice President and presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, Atiku Abubakar, has berated the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), over attacks and alleged threats to life of the presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) Peter Obi, following his criticism of the President Bola Tinubu-led government.
Atiku who frowned at comments credited to the APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, where he insinuated that Obi will get what is coming to him, stated that the attacks is an indication of the APC’s apparent slide towards authoritarianism.
In a statement shared on his official X handle on Tuesday, Atiku said the inflammatory remarks made by Morka against Obi, coupled with the arrest and detention of other dissenting voices like Mahdi Shehu does not augur well for the Tinubu administration.
