Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State has imposed a dawn-to-dusk curfew in Owo, Owo Local Government Area, following violent cult clashes that claimed four lives on Monday.
The announcement was made in a statement released in Akure by Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, who described the clashes as a serious security disturbance.
“The ongoing violent cult clashes and security disturbances in Owo have led to loss of lives,” Adeniyan said.
