The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Solomon Adeola, told his supporters to suspend discussion on the 2027 governorship race in Ogun State.
Adeola, who is popularly known as “Yayi” stated this in a chat with journalists shortly after an annual New Year thanksgiving service held at the Unity Cathedral of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Ogun Province Seven in Ilaro on Friday.
The lawmaker said he was currently preoccupied with the idea of delivering on his campaign promises to the people of his senatorial district.
