- Operatives of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have arrested a woman for allegedly abandoning her one-day-old baby
- The FCT police spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, said operatives from Mpape Division’s Juvenile and Women Care Section (JWC) rescued the baby
- According to Adeh, the abandoned baby was rescued following a distress call that a baby was found wrapped in a cloth on Friday, January 3
