The Lagos State Government has introduced monthly landmark tours aimed at showcasing the city’s cultural heritage and boosting its tourism appeal.
The tours, which will span both land and water, are part of a broader initiative to highlight Lagos’s growing transportation and tourism sectors on a global scale.
Idris Aregbe, Special Adviser to the Governor on Tourism, Arts, and Culture, announced the plan during a hosting event for Nigerians in the diaspora. The event featured a city tour themed “Lagos Tourism is Rising.”
“Through this initiative, we aim to promote our cultural heritage and strengthen ties with the diaspora community. It’s an opportunity to explore Lagos’s scenic views, cultural history, and vibrant atmosphere,” Aregbe said.
