We will resist establishment of cattle ranches in Igboland, IPOB warns Tinubu

Outlawed Igbo separatist group, the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has warned President Bola Tinubu that the people of the South-East will resist any attempt by his administration to establish cattle ranches or the RUGA settlement schemes in any part of the region.

The Biafra agitation group which gave the warning in a statement issued on Friday by its Head of Directorate of State, Chika Edoziem, said IPOB has maintained a neutral stance towards the administration since its inception and would not be drawn into anything that would not be of benefit to Ndigbo.

Edoziem emphasized that IPOB has opposed setting up cattle ranching and settling schemes in the South-East in the past and would not succumb to fresh attempts by the Tinubu government to bring them up.
