The Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC) has released the list of political parties fielding candidates in the January 18 local government elections in the state.
The Commissioner in charge of Communication, Media and Information Technology in ODIEC, Tunde Adeleye, disclosed this in a statement on Friday in Akure.
The parties are – Action Democratic Party (ADP), Action Peoples Party (APP), All Progressive Congress (APC), All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Boot Party (BP), Labour Party (LP), New Nigeria People Party (NNPP), Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Young Progressive Party (YPP), Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Action Alliance (AA) and National Rescue Movement (NRM).
