Nigerien leader’s claims aimed at inciting Northern Nigeria against Tinubu – Presidency

The presidency on Friday described the claims by the head of Niger Republic’s military junta, Abdourahamane Tchiani, on the planned destabilization of his country by Nigeria as unacceptable propaganda.

Tchiani had in a broadcast during the week alleged that Nigeria was colluding with France to destabilise the landlocked West African country.

He added that France, Niger Republic’s former colonial master, made a substantial payment to President Bola Tinubu to establish a military base in Nigeria.
