The Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), has disclosed that the federal government is planning to achieve a target of three million barrels per day (bpd) in crude oil production by 2025.
This would be made possible with the launch of the Operation Delta Sanity II, a programme specifically designed to address oil theft, pipeline vandalism, and other maritime crimes, ensuring a secure environment for legitimate operations.
Lokpobiri made this known on Monday during the launch of the operation by the Nigerian Navy in Port Harcourt.
