The recently concluded Nigeria 2024 Oil Licensing Round conducted by the Nigerian Upstream Regulatory Commission (NUPRC) has been described by an energy expert, Mohammed Musa, as a departure from the opaque practice under the defunct Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).
Musa said the 2024 Licensing Round, launched in Texas Houston in May was conducted in line with international best practice and driven by technology.
