Aiyedatiwa signs Ondo State’s N698bn 2025 ‘budget of recovery’ into law

Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of Ondo State signed the 2025 state appropriation bill into law on Monday, marking a significant milestone in the state’s developmental agenda. The budget, amounting to N698,659,496,000, was passed by the State House of Assembly just a week prior.

The financial blueprint allocates N265.037 billionto recurrent expenditure and N433.622 billion to capital expenditure, reflecting the administration’s emphasis on infrastructure and economic recovery.

Speaking at the signing ceremony held in the Executive Council Chamber of the Governor’s Office, Akure, Aiyedatiwa described the 2025 budget as a strategic initiative to rebuild the state’s economy and address pressing socio-economic challenges.
