American wireless network operator, Verizon, has secured its network following a cyberattack by Chinese hackers.
The company, in a statement issued by its spokesperson, Richard Young, on Monday, said its network was targeted by China-linked Salt Typhoon cyber-espionage group.
He said the company has “contained the cyber incident brought on by this nation-state threat actor” and that it has not detected any threat actor activity on its network “for some time.”
