Former Governor of Jigawa State, Alhaji Sule Lamido has accused President Bola Tinubu of not being transparent enough to tell Nigerians the truth about the true situation of the country and his administration.
Lamido, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), who bared his mind in an interview with the BBC Hausa Service programme, ‘Gane Mini Hanya’ on Saturday night, also took a swipe at former President Muhammadu Buhari, accusing him of employing the same method of not being transparent with Nigerians during his time.
While responding to a question on the economic hardship that has hit the country since Tinubu assumed office, Lamido said the two administrations prioritised propaganda rather than telling Nigerians the actual state of the nation unlike during the time PDP governed the country.
