The former Rivers State Governor, Dr. Peter Odili, on Friday commended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, for stopping the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, from turning the state into his private estate.
Odili, according to a statement issued on Saturday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Nelson Chukwudi, spoke at an event he organized for Fubara and his family in Port Harcourt.
Fubara and Wike, his predecessor, fell out last year over an alleged bid for control of the state’s resources.
