The Pink Star diamond ring is the most expensive ring ever sold at auction. This breathtaking piece features a 59.60-carat flawless pink diamond, classified as a Fancy Vivid Pink by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). It was auctioned by Sotheby’s in Hong Kong in 2017 and sold for a staggering $71.2 million. The sheer size, color, and clarity of the Pink Star make it one of the rarest gems in the world.  

2. The Oppenheimer Blue Diamond Ring – $57.5 Million

This ring features a 14.62-carat Fancy Vivid Blue diamond, the largest of its kind ever sold at auction. Named after its previous owner, Sir Philip Oppenheimer, the diamond is set in a simple, elegant design that highlights its extraordinary hue. It fetched $57.5 million at a Christie’s auction in 2016.

The Bleu Royal  was originally part of a private collection, but in November 2023, the rare diamond debuted at a Christie’s auction in Geneva, where it sold for $43.8 million.
