ICRC hails Tinubu for PPP infrastructure milestones

The Director-General of the Infrastructure Concession Regulatory Commission (ICRC), Dr. Jobson Oseodion Ewalefoh, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his transformative leadership in advancing Nigeria’s infrastructure development through Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs).

In a holiday message, Ewalefoh highlighted the significant progress achieved under Tinubu’s administration, describing the President’s vision as “a beacon of progress in Africa.”

He stated, “President Tinubu’s unwavering dedication to delivering a new Nigeria has rekindled hope in the nation’s future.”

Ewalefoh detailed the ICRC’s accomplishments since his appointment in July, including reforms that streamline PPP approvals, bolster investor confidence, and foster inter-agency collaboration.

“We have introduced innovative financing models and attracted private-sector investments to critical national projects,” he said.

The DG also underscored the administration’s focus on creating jobs, fostering inclusivity, and building a sustainable economy.

“The Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering uncommon transformation across Nigeria,” Ewalefoh remarked, pledging his commitment to aligning the ICRC’s goals with Tinubu’s agenda.

Looking ahead to 2025, Ewalefoh expressed optimism, stating, “Our vision is to solidify Nigeria’s infrastructure framework by harnessing private-sector expertise and deploying innovative financing models to deliver life-transforming projects.”

He concluded by thanking stakeholders for their support and urging continued collaboration to uplift all Nigerians.

“Let us work together to realise a future where infrastructure development transforms lives,” he said.

Ewalefoh extended warm holiday wishes and reaffirmed the ICRC’s dedication to fostering economic resilience and sustainable growth in the coming year.
