The Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC), Thursday, December 5, 2024, extended Nigeria’s oil production quota of 1.5 million barrels per day (mbpd) to 2026
The cartel disclosed that the decision to extend Nigeria’s and other countries’ quota was made at its 38th OPEC and non-OPEC ministerial meeting on Thursday, December 5, 2024.
The oil alliance extended the overall crude oil production level for OPEC and non-OPEC participating countries to achieve and sustain a stable oil market.
