Taking to the micro blogging platform, X, the former Anambra state governor highlighted the importance of advocating for the rights of the girl child, calling it both a moral duty and a strategic investment in the nation’s future.
He noted his visit to Kaduna’s Womanhood College of Health Sciences and Technology, where he donated ₦5 million, praising the institution’s role in training women for the healthcare sector. Obi also reaffirmed his earlier ₦10 million donation to Saint Gerard’s Nursing School and pledged an additional ₦5 million despite missing a planned visit due to traffic.
Obi reiterated his commitment to supporting initiatives that foster inclusive development, stressing that dismantling barriers for girls is essential for building a sustainable and equitable future.
