The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has directed workers in the six area councils of the city to begin an indefinite strike from Sunday.
The NLC chairman in the FCT, Mr. Knabanyi Adalo, gave the directive in a statement on Saturday in Abuja.
Idalo said the directive was in compliance with a communiqué issued at the NLC National Executive Council (NEC) meeting held on November 8 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
