The Nigerian government on Thursday said approximately $19 million is required to effectively combat Neglected Tropical Diseases (NTDs) in the country.

The National Coordinator for NTDs, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, Fatai Oyediran, disclosed this on the second day of a high-level advocacy meeting with commissioners of health from the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) in Abuja.
