Former Minister of Aviation Osita Chidoka has announced his resignation from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Chidoka made this revelation during his appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Friday.
According to Chidoka, his decision to leave the PDP is driven by his desire to focus on his non-profit organization, Athena Centre. He expressed his commitment to working with like-minded Nigerians to reform the country’s political system and promote evidence-based governance.
Chidoka stated, “Earlier today, I sent a letter to my ward in Anambra State resigning officially from the PDP. I am leaving the PDP, I am leaving politics for some time, I am focusing on the Athena Centre.”
He, at a time, served as the Corps Marshal of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC).
