2027: Obidient Movement vows to seek alternatives if LP resists Peter Obi’s candidacy

The Obidient Movement’s National Coordinator, Yunusa Tanko, has declared that the movement transcends the Labour Party, boasting a diverse membership spanning academicians, traders, and individuals from other political parties.

In an interview with Arise News in Abuja on Tuesday, Tanko stated, “The Obedient Movement is bigger than the Labour Party. We have them everywhere… We will have to look for another opportunity if the Labour Party is not ready to assimilate the idea of good governance.”

Tanko acknowledged setbacks during the 2023 general election, citing inadequate coverage of 1,760 polling units. However, he assured that the movement is now building a solid foundation across all units.
