AL-MONAN Hijama Cupping Therapy Limited has launched the Seizure and Epileptic Foundation to provide free treatment for vulnerable individuals who cannot afford proper care to manage their health conditions.
The foundation was unveiled recently during the opening of a new clinical centrespecialising in cupping therapy services in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
Speaking at the event, the founder, Imam BolajiAtunrashe, a professional cupping therapist accredited by the International Hijama Institute, emphasised that the foundation, launched alongside the clinical centre, was inspired by the societal stigma that has worsened the situation for those affected by these health conditions.
He said there are various underlying causes of these conditions, many of which go unnoticed or unaddressed.
