The Nigerian Safety Investigation Bureau (NSIB) has backtracked from its earlier position that five bodies have been recovered from the scene of the ill-fated helicopter crash in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
The bureau had earlier posited that five bodies have been recovered so far, however, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) countered NSIB that no additional bodies have been found at the site of Thursday’s crash involving the Sikorsky SK76 helicopter in Port Harcourt, Rivers State it hired
Giving an update on the incident on Sunday, NSIB Director of Public Affairs and Family Assistance, Bimbo Oladeji, said though two additional bodies were located, they were however not retrieved.
