Dangote Cement invests $280m in CNG transition

Dangote Cement Plc on Sunday, announced a significant investment of over $280 million in compressed natural gas (CNG) trucks, technology and infrastructure.

This move is part of the company’s long-term plan to transition its entire fleet to CNG, reinforcing its commitment to mitigating climate change and supporting a low-carbon economy.

Arvind Pathak, Group Managing Director (GMD) of Dangote Cement, revealed the investment at an event in Abuja, highlighting the company’s dedication to clean energy transition.
