Tinubu Seeks Senate Approval for Seven New Ministerial Nominees

The president made these new appointments following the dismissal of five ministers in a cabinet reshuffle that took place on Wednesday. The appointments were announced in a statement released by the presidency after the federal executive council (FEC) meeting.

Bianca Odinaka Odumegu-Ojukwu has been appointed as minister of state for foreign affairs, while Jumoke Oduwole has been assigned to the ministry of industry, trade, and investment. Nentawe Yilwatda was appointed to replace the suspended Betta Edu as the minister of humanitarian affairs and poverty reduction, and Muhammadu Maigari Dingyadi was named the new minister of labour and employment.
