Lando Norris has blamed the decision to penalise him for a passing move on rival Max Verstappen in the United States Grand Prix as the reason for losing momentum in the race.
The penalty affected his performance as he was demoted from third to fourth, a position behind Verstapppen, who extended his lead to 57 points with five races to go and 146 points still available.
