In light of Ghana’s potential exit from the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Mohammed Kudus in his recent post on social media issued a heartfelt apology to Ghanaians for the team’s failure to meet their expectations addressing the possible failure to qualify for the tournament.
Taking to his social media platform, Kudus, who captained the team in the recent matches, expressed, “With great humility and a deep sense of responsibility, I issue this statement as someone who led the team in both games. On behalf of the entire squad, I sincerely apologize to the people of Ghana for our disappointing performances against Sudan in Accra and Libya. Despite giving our all on the field, the results fell short of our aspirations and the pride we feel in representing our beloved nation.”
