Peter Obi, Former Presidents Jonathan and Obasanjo Meet in Abuja [PHOTOS]

Peter Obi, the 2023 Labour Party presidential candidate, on Thursday, met with former Nigerian Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in Abuja.

Jonathan was president from 2010 to 2015. He lost the 2015 presidential election to Muhammadu Buhari and was the first incumbent president in Nigerian history to concede defeat in an election and, therefore, allow for a peaceful transition of power.

Meanwhile, Obasanjo has governed Nigeria as both the head of a military administration (1975-1979) and then again as a democratically elected civilian president (1999 – 2007).

The meeting took place during the 67th birthday celebration and presentation of 50 books by renowned legal scholar Prof. Mike Ozekhome SAN at the Abuja Continental Hotel.

Obi made the disclosure in a social media post on Friday evening.

The former Anambra governor praised Prof. Ozekhome’s contributions to Nigeria’s legal profession, describing his work as a testament to intellectual prowess and dedication to justice.

“Professor Ozekhome’s contributions to the legal profession and his commitment to justice have left an indelible mark on Nigeria’s legal landscape,” Obi wrote on social media.
