VP Shettima arrives in Sweden for bilateral talks, eyes boost in trade

Nigeria’s Vice President Kashim Shettima, on Thursday, touched down in Sweden for a two-day working visit aimed at strengthening trade and bilateral ties between the two nations. This high-profile visit, initiated by President Bola Tinubu, promises to elevate cooperation in key sectors.

Shettima is joined on this trip by Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ambassador Yusuf Tuggar, and top officials from various government agencies and parastatals.

According to his spokesman, Stanley Nkwocha, the Vice President’s agenda includes high-level discussions with Swedish government officials, as well as meetings with Crown Princess Victoria and the Swedish Prime Minister.
