Tesla’s newly launched cybertruck cum robotaxi has been described as an accident waiting to happen by several European road safety organisations which are concerned about its use.
In a recent open letter, more than half a dozen non-governmental organizations, including the International Federation of Pedestrians and the European Road Safety Council, contended that Elon Musk’s large, unwieldy creation presents several risks to road safety in Europe.
The recent Czech Republic’s decision to register one of Tesla’s trucks as a passenger vehicle, so granting it entry into the continent, served as the impetus for the letter.
