The House of Representatives has expressed concern over the delay in submitting the 2025 budget proposal to the National Assembly by President Bola Tinubu.
This followed the adoption of a motion of urgent public importance moved by a lawmaker, Clement Jimbo, at Wednesday’s plenary in Abuja.
In his presentation, Jimbo said the Fiscal Responsibility Act 2007 provides for the prudent management of the country’s resources and ensures long-term macroeconomic stability of the economy.
