X resumption delayed in Brazil after lawyers paid pending fines to wrong bank account

The Brazilian Supreme Court has ruled that the attorneys representing social networking site X had neglected to pay overdue fines to the appropriate bank, delaying a verdict on the company’s ability to carry on business in the South American country.

X owned by American businessman, Elon Musk filed a request to resume its services earlier on Friday, stating that all unpaid fees had been settled.

On the other hand, Justice Alexandre de Moraes of the Brazilian Supreme Court asked that the funds wired by X be sent to the appropriate bank account.
