Renowned Nollywood actress and producer, Funke Akindele has indicated an interest in featuring Big Brother Naija’s ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Wanni in her production.
LEADERSHIP gathered that Wanni, during a conversation with other housemates on Wednesday acknowledged Akindele’s feat in the movie industry, expressing that if she were to go into acting, she would prefer to be in Funke Akindele and Kunle Afolayan’s production.
“Me, I want to be in Funke Akindele’s and Kunle Afolayan’s production.
“Funke Akindele is very big. The quality of her movies is top notch and she has been in the game. She’s OG,” Wanni said.
The clip which went viral grabbed the attention of fans.
One of Wanni’s fans, @GloriaNapier9 reposted the video clip tagging Akindele and begging her to grant Wanni’s request.
“@funkeakindele your highness ma. No one does it like you ma, please hear our baby’s request. Thank you in advance.”
In a shocking twist of event, Akindele reacted and shared the video on X with the caption, “Will be waiting. All the best dear.”
LEADERSHIP recalls that Wanni got into the ongoing ninth season of the BBNaija show with her identical twin sister, Handi, who has now been evicted.
The duo expressed that they were Disc Jockeys (DJs) before coming into the house.
