NDIC Switches From Remita To NIBBS For Defunct Heritage Banks Customers’ Settlement

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has announced the adoption of the Nigeria Inter-Bank Settlement System (NIBSS) for payment of insured depositors of the defunct Heritage Bank.

NDIC said the decision was based on limitations of the Remita payment platform.
