On Wednesday, a Federal High Court in Kano rejected an ex parte motion filed by the All Progressives Congress (APC) seeking to stop the Kano State Independent Electoral Commission (KANSIEC) from conducting the forthcoming October 24 local government elections in the state.
The Court refused the application filed by the party and Hon. Aminu Aliyu Tiga through their counsel, Mustapha Idris, seeking an order restraining the electoral body from conducting the elections.
