APC alleges 3 INEC staff plotting to compromise Edo election

The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State has accused three staff of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of plotting to compromise Saturday’s governorship election in the state.

In a letter addressed to the INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, the party alleged that the affected officers have recruited some persons from outside the state to work for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the election.

It listed the staff as the HOD Operation, Inoyengieni Frank Ogbise, the Head of ICT, Lawrence Akan, and the Electoral Officer for Akoko Edo local government area of the state, Blessing Suleman.
